F7 339LA and F3 19LA have charge of the westbound San Francisco Chief at Media, Illinois on April 4, 1969. Note the radio antenna on the first booster unit. Dressed in her yellow warbonnet, 339L was not chosen for Amtrak service, but did become CF-7 2470 in February, 1977. - Joe McMillan
