In a rare close-up, the nose of
FTA 172L is displayed at Temple, Texas in 1951. The blue and gold
"Santa Fe" emblem was applied to a metal badge which was
then attached to the nose door of the FT's by the builder. Many
200 class F7's als carried this type of badge when first delivered.
